Clay Brick Delivery in Ghana — Timelines, Costs & Regions
Delivered-to-site, on time, with a weighbridge-verified quantity.
Typical lead times
Once an order is confirmed and deposit paid, typical dispatch timelines:
- •Greater Accra (same-day or next-day): 0–2 days
- •Eastern / Central / Volta regions: 3–5 days
- •Ashanti / Bono / Ahafo: 3–5 days
- •Western / Western North: 4–7 days
- •Northern / Upper East / Upper West / Savannah / North East / Oti: 7–14 days (via consolidated loads)
Delivery cost
Delivery is quoted separately after order. Typical rates add GH₵0.10–0.40 per brick to the delivered price, depending on distance from dispatch location.
Group Buy campaigns dramatically reduce per-builder delivery cost by consolidating multiple orders onto a single truck.
Preparing your site
Before the truck arrives, your site needs:
- •Clear access for a 20-ton tipper or curtain-side truck (3.5m min width, firm ground)
- •Stockpile location level, dry, and close to where the bricks will be laid
- •Someone on site to receive, sign for, and verify quantity
- •Cover to hand if rain is possible (plastic sheeting or tarpaulin)
What happens on delivery
The driver offloads to ground level. Quantity is weighbridge-verified before dispatch, so the count is accurate. Any breakage claims must be made at offload — take photos before the truck leaves.
