The headline numbers

For a typical 2-bedroom bungalow with fair-faced clay brick walls in a concrete frame (about 12,000 bricks):

• •Bricks only: 12,000 bricks at our package price of GH₵3.60, delivered in Greater Accra and Central Region = GH₵43,200
• •Walls built, floor level to roof level (bricks, cement, sand, chippings, rods, formwork, brickwork and concreting labour, contingency and GhanaBrick management): about GH₵110,400
• •Separate, and priced for your site: foundation, ground slab, roofing, doors, windows, finishes, water, scaffolding, drawings and permit

Material detail

A typical 2-bedroom build uses about 12,000 of our standard bricks for the walls (single-leaf, in a concrete frame). At the GH₵4.00 list price, delivered in Greater Accra and Central Region, that is GH₵48,000; our house package brings it to GH₵43,200. A boundary wall is extra, at about 115 bricks per metre. Confirm the count with a free take-off from your drawings.

Why clay brick on a tight budget still makes sense

Per square metre, clay brick costs more upfront than sandcrete block. But a sandcrete wall still needs plaster and paint, and repainting over the years. A fair-faced clay brick wall needs neither.
